why do you think there are BGMs in movies..
well , here is what I found out.. ;)
1) So that when the camera zooms in on a particular face, the audience can figure out if the character is supposed to be the villain,or the hero,or the victim of the misery or perhaps the ghost
2) So that when somebody is tiptoeing or juming over a wall or doing some such clandestine activity the sound of his/her heels is not heard
3) so that the audience can make out what the director intended to convey in a scene,humour or tragedy or horror
